Introduced to the industry by his father, he worked in a sheet metal shop as a teenager and worked installs throughout college. After graduating, he joined the family business full-time — and helped lead it to unprecedented heights. Over the next several years, Kelly helped grow the company from $6.5 million to more than $100 million in annual revenue. Today, Parker & Sons clears more than $250 million from a single location.

But Kelly’s ambitions didn’t stop there. In 2020, he launched Clover Growth Partners to help other contractors scale and give back to the industry. Since then, he’s worked with more than 100 companies to reach/exceed eight-figure revenues, over a dozen to exceed nine, and now invests in a growing portfolio of service businesses nationwide — doing $100 million in direct sales for his own businesses. He’s contributed to the growth of top industry including Goettl Air Conditioning and Plumbing, Wrench Group, We Care, Milestone, Apex Service Partners, A1 Garage, and several HVAC companies he owns himself, including Dream Team, Jim Needham, D&H, and Genz-Ryan.

Among Kelly’s proudest accomplishments is helping his team “create dozens of millionaires in a day” when the family business, Parker & Sons, was flipped. That milestone, he said, stands out as one of the most meaningful moments in his career.

Through Clover Growth Partners, he and his wife, Laura, continue to share the strategies that helped his family business become one of the largest single-location shops in the U.S., while giving back through mentorship and best-practice leadership.

 “My goal,” Kelly said, “is to have the largest positive impact on the industry since Ron Smith and Jim Abrams.”
