IRVINE, Calif. — Navien is adding three products to its growing HVAC portfolio: the NAZ Air-to-Air Heat Pump, the NAS Air Handler, and the NAM Cased Coil.
These high-efficiency products round out Navien’s lineup of residential HVAC solutions and are designed to integrate with the NPF Hydro-furnace, introduced in 2023, enabling flexible dual-fuel and all-electric system configurations, a press release from Navien Inc. said.
“Navien’s HVAC solutions now offer everything a contractor needs to deliver high-performance, high-efficiency comfort systems,” said Jacob Ford, the company’s vice president of sales. “The new NAZ, NAS, and NAM products are designed for versatility, efficiency, and ease of installation, and are backed by Navien’s commitment to innovation and quality.”
The NAZ Air-to-Air Heat Pump has a SEER2 rating of up to 19.0, thanks to inverter technology. Two SKUs cover a wide capacity range, from 1.5 to 5 tons, for simplified installation. The model operates with either a one- or two-stage thermostat, uses R-454B refrigerant, and has an ambient temperature operating range of between -4°F and 124°F.
Other features include:
• line set lengths of up to 100 feet.
• Bluetooth connectivity via the Navien MultiKit app.
• adaptive defrost with field-selectable options.

NAS air handlers are available in capacities of between 2 and 5 tons and feature a multi-position design. One model supports upflow, horizontal, or downflow configurations with an optional kit, and is compatible with a wide range of installation needs. Designed for use with R-454B, they include factory-installed refrigerant leak detection. The air handlers have aluminum coil construction, variable-speed blower motors, and compatibility with electric heat kits from 5kW up to 20kW.
The NAM cased coils also support applications of between 2 tons and 5 tons and are designed for integration with Navien outdoor units and the NPF Hydro-furnace, making them a choice for dual-fuel systems. The coil features multi-position flexibility, is AHRI-matched and certified, and includes a factory-installed TXV and an A2L refrigerant leak sensor. Each unit is leak-tested and pressurized before shipment.
