Rapid Exchange® plays a crucial role in promoting circular business practices within the HVACR industry. After cylinders are swapped, the recovered refrigerant is sent to an A-Gas facility where it is reclaimed to AHRI-700 specifications before re-entering the supply chain. When refrigerants can no longer be re-processed, they are safely destroyed using proprietary PyroPlas® technology, which boasts a guaranteed destruction efficiency of 99.9999%.

The Rapid Exchange® service is an extension of A-Gas’ Rapid Recovery on-site refrigerant recovery service, where EPA-certified technicians will go to a customer’s location to recover refrigerant directly from systems at up to ten times the speed of traditional recovery equipment.
