The ACHR NEWS continues its video series on the major transition to A2L refrigerants. The HVAC industry is dealing with the phasing down of greenhouse gas refrigerant hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), moving manufacturers to use refrigerants with low global warming potential (GWP) instead.
In part five of this series, we ask Ben Middleton, national sales manager for Daikin, if it is safe for A2L refrigerant cylinders to be in hot trucks. With some parts of the country seeing temperatures into the triple digits, this is an important question for contractors.
