BEDFORD, Mass. — F.W. Webb Co., a wholesale distributor of HVACR and plumbing equipment, has opened a location in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., following the completion of its acquisition of HVAC supplier J.D. Johnson Co.

“We chose Poughkeepsie because customers in the commercial and residential building trades who live and work in the Dutchess County community require a full-service wholesaler for planned projects, emergency jobs, and ongoing maintenance and repairs, and we see significant growth potential at this location,” said Bob Mucciarone, F.W. Webb’s CEO, in a press release. “Our acquisition of J.D. Johnson Co., a business that has served the community for more than 150 years, complements F.W. Webb’s own unwavering, 150-plus year commitment to supporting customers before, during, and after every job — day after day and year after year.”

F.W. Webb’s 40,000-square-foot foot Poughkeepsie location is located right off Route 9 and the Mid-Hudson Bridge. The location offers plumbing, heating, HVACR, and PVF products, and custom metal fabrication. Customers can see product demonstrations, earn certifications, and get hands-on training at the training center at F.W. Webb’s nearby Newburgh, NY, location, the company said.

“Like all F.W. Webb wholesale locations, Poughkeepsie is a one-stop source for an extensive inventory of high-quality products, expert assistance, and unrivaled customer service,” said F.W. Webb general manager Pat McCormack. “We look forward to providing exceptional service and personalized attention to former J.D. Johnson Co. customers and expanding relationships with our loyal and growing customer base at our newest New York state wholesale location.”
