HARDI: Average Sales Up 35.1% for November
The most recent TRENDS report from the Heating, Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) shows the average sales performance by member distributors rose by 35.1% during November.
The average annual sales growth for the 12 months through November was 23.3%.

Marcone Buys Munch’s Supply
Marcone, a distributor of home appliance, HVAC, and plumbing repair parts and equipment across North America and a Genstar Capital company, announced that it has acquired Munch’s Supply, a distributor of HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies, from Ridgemont Equity Partners.
The acquisition, combined with the recent acquisition of plumbing distributor Professional Plumbing Group, dramatically expands Marcone's services to the home. Ridgemont and the Munch’s management team will retain a meaningful minority stake in the combined entity.

Wholesaler Opens Free Loyalty Plan
Superior Equipment Sales Inc., a wholesale distributor of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment and accessories, announced that, starting in 2022, it will make its loyalty program benefits available to all customers at no charge.
Previously, the Superior Dealer loyalty program required either a minimum spend commitment or a buy-in fee in order to receive special benefits and services, including free deliveries, warranty processing, technical support and training programs.

HARDI Raises Nearly $135K For Housing For Veterans
Members of HARDI, the Heating, Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International, raised $134,550 in 2021 for Homes for Our Troops, the association’s philanthropic partner. In addition to the cash donations raised in 2021, HARDI members committed to donating HVACR equipment for 19 homes across the country that are specially adapted for injured military veterans.

Since the partnership began in 2011, HARDI members have raised more than $1.3 million for Homes for Our Troops and have committed to or already donated the HVACR products to more than 50 homes.

Supply Firm Marks 100th
APR Supply Co., based in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, is marking its centennial in 2022.
