HAVERTOWN, Pa. — National Energy Control Corp (NECC), an authorized wholesale distributor of commercial/industrial HVAC supplies, is celebrating 35 years. Started in 1979 by Kerk Farrell and Joe Pupis, NECC is now a wholesale distributor of over 200,000 parts and controls for commercial and industrial HVAC systems.

In its 35 years, NECC has built relationships with and is an authorized distributor for many established original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) of HVAC systems and components. These include Honeywell, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Barber Colman, Belimo, and Powers. NECC specializes in replacements for pneumatic controls and has its own Pneuline Controls® brand of pneumatic replacement parts.

“Through more than 35 years in business, our most important asset has been our people,” said Joe Pupis, co-founder of NECC. “Most of our employees have been with us for 10 years or more; some for as many as 15, 20, and even 30 years. I am very proud of that fact.”

Pupis and Kerk Farrell, president and co-founder, celebrated the anniversary at a luncheon, held at Springfield Country Club in Springfield, Pennsylvania. The luncheon was attended by many business associates, employees, and company alumni. According to NECC, congratulatory greetings came from around the country, recognizing NECC’s milestone anniversary. The company is also planning celebratory trips to Citizen’s Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies, with some of their local customers.

“Thanks to our many good customers, employees and manufacturers, we’ve been able to build a good business based on providing good customer service and providing solutions to our customers as quickly as possible," said Farrell.
