Distributor Schedules Hands-On Geothermal Expo
MEDINA, Ohio - Wolff Bros. Supply Inc. will host a
hands-on, multi-station outdoor workshop and training arena for their HVAC,
geothermal, and drilling customers.
The “big tent” event takes place Tuesday, Sept. 11
at Wolff Bros. Supply in Medina, Ohio. The event will include hands-on workshops for
geo introduction, directional boring, vertical drilling, horizontal loop and pond
loop applications, load-sizing, and geo equipment expertise.
Event hosts expect to draw more than 200 professional attendees from Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, Indiana, West Virginia, and Michigan.
On Sept. 11, registration and breakfast will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., and then group station break-outs take place from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Six key, hands-on work stations for attendees are provided in 50-minute intervals.
“We make sure that attendees are given hands-on experience with many different facets of geothermal technology and application, focusing on the latest technology and all varieties and types of geoexchange - the process of harvesting BTUs from the ground, or a body of water,” said Dave Chenowith, HVAC sales manager, Wolff Bros. Supply. Attendees will also learn about ClimateMaster’s loop design software, GeoDesigner. The program is a sophisticated yet intuitive tool for sizing units and exchange fields. The software also helps to demonstrate operating costs for potential customers.
This Class is certified by the State of Ohio for seven Continuing Education credits. The event costs $150 per person. This fee includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner with beverages.
