Dexter + Chaney Partners with Strategies Group in Southeast States
Strategies Group is a leading software and technology consulting firm
SEATTLE — Dexter + Chaney, provider of Spectrum® Construction Software, has announced a partnership agreement with Atlanta-based Strategies Group to resell Spectrum in the Georgia, South Carolina, northern Florida, Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, and Louisiana markets. Strategies Group, founded in 1992, is a leading software and technology consulting firm in the Southeast. In 2000, technology consultant Randy Collins purchased the company. Original Strategies Group founder Pat Chappell and 30-year industry veteran Ron Smith recently joined the company when it was beginning discussions with Dexter + Chaney.
Dexter + Chaney said the partnership represents a strategic move to continue to grow its business and business relationships.
“Randy, and the entire Strategies Group team are well-respected, smart professionals that really listen to, and understand the needs of, their customers in the markets they represent,” said Norbert Orth, Dexter + Chaney president. “We really liked how well their own business model mirrored ours and knew this would be an excellent fit for both of our companies to seize on some enormous growth opportunities in the construction technology marketplace.”
Strategies Group had been a leading Sage/Timberline reseller for more than 20 years before agreeing to exclusively represent Dexter + Chaney. Collins said Dexter + Chaney’s commitment to technology over the years has positioned the company, and Spectrum Construction Software, well in the industry.
“After more than 20 years serving the market, Strategies Group believes that the construction industry is changing faster now than ever before. With ever-tightening margins, a more dispersed workforce, and a dearth of qualified workers, it is imperative that we continue to discover and deliver products and services that provide valuable information anywhere in a format that is user friendly and on a technology platform that our clients can build on for the future,” Collins said. “After thoroughly researching the software marketplace, we strongly feel that Dexter & Chaney’s Spectrum product line provides the best accounting and operations solution for these issues.”
