• Johnson Controls Inc. (Milwaukee) announced the sale of its Global WorkPlace Solutions (GWS) business to CBRE Group Inc. (Los Angeles) for $1.475 billion.
• Danfoss (Baltimore) announced partnerships with three electric heating products representatives: Meglio & Associates (St. Louis) will serve central and southern Illinois and eastern Missouri; W.E. Sullivan Co. (Richmond, Virginia), Virginia, Washington, District of Columbia, and Maryland; and Bay Electrical (Glendale, Wisconsin), Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
• Spirax Sarco Inc. (Blythewood, South Carolina) received a Commendation of Excellence Award from the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce for exemplary top safety records at its two Blythewood, South Carolina, sites.
