BROADVIEW, Ill. — The Unified Group is hosting a service leaders forum, “Delivering Legendary Service in a Mobile World: A Forum for Service Leaders,” Jan. 22-26 in San Diego. This year the organization will have general sessions for all levels of service management and also spend time in break out tracks that will apply to field supervisors and team leaders, service and operations managers, and vice presidents of service and owners.

The meeting will start with social media marketing expert Terry Brock. He will discuss technology and social media and how HVAC professionals can utilize both to build deeper customer relationships. Other topics for the three-day session include dealing with different personalities, the importance of financial/operational metrics (what’s behind them, what we can learn from them, and changes we can make to impact profitability), and how to deliver world-class service.

Attendees will also get the opportunity to visit Pacific Rim Mechanical, the Unified Group member located in San Diego, to see its service operation, handheld technology, customer relationship management (CRM), and how the company has differentiated itself through branding.

The Unified Group is a national network of independent mechanical contractors. For more information, visit www.theunifiedgroup.com.
