BROADVIEW, Ill. - More than 35 contractors will be developing a better understanding of green building practices and principles at The Unified Group’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) for New Construction accreditation exam training set for March 25-26 in Chicago.
The preparatory course will be taught by Dave Hubka, sustainable project manager at Total Mechanical Inc., Pewaukee, Wis.
“There has been a lot of interest among our members to do a LEED training,” said Julie Bishop, executive director. “It’s just one more way our members can distinguish themselves from the other contractors out there.”
The day-and-a-half course will cover the LEED process and the prerequisites/credits. It will also include sample test questions and a Q&A session at the end of each day.
