CARROLLTON, Texas - Daikin (AC) Americas Inc. and McQuay International announced expansions to their distribution and representation agreements with HTS. HTS’ representation of McQuay products has expanded into Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas. Additionally, Direct Expansion Solutions (DXS), a division of HTS, will represent Daikin AC’s line of Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV®) HVAC equipment in North Texas.

The agreement expands HTS as a McQuay manufacturing representative into Dallas and Fort Worth along with existing locations in Houston, Beaumont, Austin, and San Antonio. “HTS has been an exceptional partner and expanding our relationship with them in Dallas and Fort Worth was a natural choice,” said Stephen Poles, vice president of North American sales at McQuay International. “Based on a long history of feedback from customers who work with HTS in other parts of Texas and Canada, we know they will receive top notch customer service.”

“This is an exciting time for HTS with a new expansion into the Dallas and Fort Worth market and now becoming the primary distributor in Texas of McQuay HVAC systems,” said Mike Donovan, principal of HTS Texas. “We are thrilled to offer an on-the-ground presence to provide the latest innovations in high-efficiency heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to building owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, mechanical contractors, and facilities maintenance crews in Texas.”

In addition, Donovan said that HTS’ DXS division specializes solely in variable refrigerant volume implementation and design, and will be closely supported by Daikin AC. He said, “The move to Dallas-Fort Worth will enable DXS to support the marketing and sales effort for the Daikin VRV technology.”

“We are excited about our valuable partnership with HTS and DXS because we share a common goal: to be the best in our respective industries,” explained Russell Tavolacci, Daikin AC vice president and general manager. “DXS maintains an impressive staff of HVAC professionals that will become an important asset to Daikin as we continue to expand in North America.”
