COURSE DESCRIPTION:The class involves a careful examination of zoning as a tool of HVAC contractors for solving too hot and too cold problems in residential or light commercial new construction and retrofit applications. It covers zoning opportunity recognition, product familiarization, system design, and proper installation techniques. An emphasis will be placed on retrofit applications. Comfort College is designed as a lecture-lab course in which topics are presented by the instructors and examined in lab exercises. COURSE DESCRIPTION:The course, part of the FloPro Factory Training classes and available to members of the FloPro Team, will show installers how to conduct an accurate, effective residential heat loss analysis using a pencil, paper, and calculator. Attendees are then immersed in Taco’s state-of-the-art FloPro Design Software. Using laptop computers in the training lab, attendees are guided in valuable, hands-on experience with advanced design software. The class is advanced training for experienced hydronics designers.
