FAIRFIELD, Conn. — General Electric has announced that it has been named the “World’s Most Respected Company” for the fifth consecutive year, according to the World's Most Respected Companies Survey published byFinancial Times.
Over 1,000 CEOs worldwide were interviewed for this survey. The executives cited the company’s “consistent performance, its ability to succeed in such a diverse range of businesses, and what one respondent called its ‘innovative, creative, adaptable, aggressive, flexible’ approach,” noted the publication.
