While most of the Elon Musk press revolves around his on again/off again purchase of Twitter, the HVAC industry is most interested in the verbal breadcrumbs he continues to drop about getting into the residential HVAC industry.
Elon Musk suggested Tesla will enter the residential HVAC market, claiming the company will upsize the equipment it uses in its electric cars for home use.
Based on 19 years of covering automotive retailing, I would say the future of residential HVAC looks a lot like the current state of automotive retailing.
