The last swallow of a tasty drink is usually followed a few moments later with one last attempt to get the last few drops out of the glass or cup and into the drinker’s mouth. In some respects, that seems to be what is happening in the supermarket industry when it comes to energy efficiency.

While I was at the airport, waiting for my connecting flight, a couple of the stories in the newspaper caught my eye. One dealt with a proposed school bond proposal, which would include remodeling existing school buildings, including adding A/C. The other explained how NASA astronauts were working on repairs to HVAC equipment in the international space station.

That James Bergmann is something else. Bergmann, the HVACR Instructor at Cuyahoga Valley Career Center (located outside of Cleveland, OH) was present on Oct. 14 for the first-ever Workforce Recruitment and Retention Summit, hosted by The News and Oakland Schools (Oakland County, MI).

With the trend toward placing information on websites for the casual visitor to decipher and disseminate, there also comes an inherent danger — copyright infringement.
