Goodrich, an HVAC entrepreneur and CEO of Goettl Air Conditioning, Sonoran Air Conditioning, Honeybee Air Conditioning Experts, and The Sunny Plumber, announced that two Army veterans would be the first beneficiaries of the scholarship endowment he started at the College of Southern Nevada (CSN).

ServiceKey founder Mike Agugliaro, a business mentor for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical service business owners, will host a free teleseminar, “Stop the Struggle: 5 Critical Techniques for Growth in 2015,” on Dec. 17 at 7 p.m. EST.

Contractors from all around the country recently traveled to Charlotte, North Carolina, for the third annual Building Performance Forum, presented by ACCA and The NEWS.

Free registration for the HVACR & Mechanical Conference for Education Professionals is now available for the 2015 conference, to help instructors of training and apprenticeship programs in HVACR and water heating to learn the latest technological advancements and improve their training and teaching skills.
This year’s forum, held in September in Green Bay, Wisconsin, drew more than 40 members, making it the most attended forum in the event’s half-decade history.

The Clifford H. “Ted” Rees Jr. Scholarship Foundation, a charitable foundation of the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI), has announced the recipients of $32,900 in scholarship funds to 18 students and veterans studying to become technicians in the HVACR and water heating industry, as well as one instructor.
