Johnson Controls Inc. sold assets from its Unitary Products Northern California branch to US Airconditioning Distributors Inc., City of Industry, Calif. The companies also agreed to expand the distribution agreement established in September that enhanced the independent distribution of residential and light-commercial products to dealers in Southern California, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, and certain parts of Nevada. Under the agreement expansion, effective immediately, US Airconditioning will distribute York, Luxaire, and Guardian-branded products throughout California and northern Nevada.
The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) hosted its 17th annual Public Policy Symposium, March 11-13. The highlight of the two-day event was a special breakfast meeting at the Hart Senate Office Building, where three senators addressed a group of AHRI members.
