Anthony and Jason Calverley, owners of Calverley Supply, an HVAC distributor, set out to prove which was the better choice; continue using an inefficient unit heater or investing in a new more efficient unit heater. They decided to test them in their own warehouse. According to the Calverleys, the results were overwhelming.
The Air Conditioning Contractors of America’s (ACCA’s) first National HVACR Residential Sales Managers Forum, held March 26-27 in St. Louis, drew over 200 HVACR professionals from 28 states for the educational event. The forum achieved high ratings across-the-board from participants, according to ACCA.

The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) will begin using a new unified mark to identify heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration products that have achieved third-party certification of their performance ratings. The new mark will replace the ARI Performance Certified, GAMA Efficiency Rating Certified, and I=B=R marks.
