The QwikSEER+™ is an enhancement to existing air conditioning and heat pump systems with Permanent Split Capacitor (PSC) motors, the company said.

Some worry the Ontario Building Code has gone too far and that the legislation may strip consumers of their options while decreasing profit margins for the HVAC contractors installing the equipment.

The P-Series line of variable-frequency drives (VFDs) has been enhanced with an Energy Management Bypass (EMB) option. 

Variable-frequency drives (VFDs), also known as inverters, are widely used because they save energy, especially in applications with variable-torque loads. 

The Platinum belt by Megadyne is a high-performance rubber-based synchronous belt with duel core hybrid cord technology capable of handling the most demanding drives, said the company.
