Nearly 300 Somerville and greater Boston area students, principals, vice principals, guidance counselors, and teachers from 13 high schools and trade schools are expected to attend Vocational Day.
During its inaugural event, AEC BuildTech will bring together architects, engineers, and contractors to learn about innovations in building processes, materials, and construction technologies. The educational program will be led by subject matter experts across five separate tracks including plumbing, roofing, HVAC, flooring, and building envelope.
Amid icebreakers, sponsor booths, and roundtables, attendees listened to five primary speakers who each addressed a specific aspect of women in the business world.
Attendees gained first-hand experience in manufacturing, testing, and servicing of residential and commercial equipment from the YORK®, Luxiare®, and Coleman® brands. Training workshops included tours of Johnson Control’s Norman, Oklahoma, and Wichita, Kansas plants. The biannual summit is a part of the company’s ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Held Oct. 16-18 in Nuremburg, Germany, discussion between global experts began on the day before the actual exhibition, at the Chillventa Congress. The compact one-day congress program gave experts from around the world the chance to learn about the latest trends and developments in depth.
The E360 Forum will be comprised of informative keynote sessions, industry-relevant and interactive breakout sessions, and more. The breakout sessions are designed to give attendees the chance to join a dialogue with subject matter experts and peers.
Once daily Service World Expo events conclude, all attendees are welcome to enjoy after parties. These parties are intended to help attendees enjoy the nightlife of Las Vegas and relax after a day of networking and studying new business practices and techniques.
