Augury, a provider of predictive maintenance technology, has announced a customer win in the contracting sector with the addition of LBA Air Conditioning, Heating & Plumbing Inc., an HVAC and plumbing contractor based in Kansas City.

Augury, an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) company, announced a new partnership program designed to deliver connected, self-diagnosing predictive maintenance products to OEMs. Grundfos, one of the largest pump manufacturers in the world, is the first to join the Augury Partnership Program.

TPG Growth announced it has invested in C3 IoT, reinforcing its position in the Internet of Things (IoT) market. According to the company, C3 IoT applies the sciences of big data, advanced analytics, and machine learning to enable smart business processes.

The DOE reports that predictive maintenance may reduce maintenance costs up to 30 percent, eliminate breakdowns 70-75 percent of the time, minimize downtime, and increase production. Yet, despite the clear benefits of predictive maintenance, only 12 percent of commercial buildings are using it.
