HB 738, introduced Oct. 4 by Rep. Niraj Antani (R-Miamisburg), requires the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC) and the Department of Education (ODE) to study the status of school buildings regarding air conditioning, accessibility, and school safety.

For the students of Cyprus Classical Academy in Burnsville, Minnesota, STEM recently got real. On May 22, 8- and 9-year-old students installed the school's HVAC control system through a partnership with 75F, a local building automation company.

The ITP is sponsored by the UA union of plumbers, fitters, welders, and service techs and draws 2,000 instructors from UA locals across the U.S., Canada, and Australia to Ann Arbor, Michigan, each year.
