Acquisition strengthens Anvil’s Fire Protection Product Package

Exeter, New Hampshire – Anvil International has announced that it has acquired the assets of FlexHead Industries Inc. and SprinkFLEX LLC which manufacture and hold patents for both FlexHead® and SprinkFLEX® brands of adjustable sprinkler piping drops for fire sprinkler applications in drop ceiling spaces and other applications.
The Heavy Pipe KnuckleHead Strap secures a 3-inch outside diameter pipe while the Strut Support strap fits a steel or aluminum unistrut-type channel. The Lite Pipe Support cap is designed to secure a single 1-inch nominal pipe or two ½-inch nominal pipes.
The McElroy Pit Bull 14 butt fusion machine is designed to fuse 1-inch IPS to 4-inch DIPS (32-110mm) high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe that is commonly used on geothermal well installations.
