Description: This plastic piping system for secondary cooling and refrigeration features energy-efficient, non-corroding, maintenance-free performance. Applications include food production, process cooling, cold storage, beverage production, supermarkets, dairies, air conditioning, and others. The core pipe is made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), which is insulated with high-density polyurethane (PUR). The insulation is protected with a black polyethylene jacket that is watertight and UV resistant, making it suitable for outdoor use. In addition, the entire system is diffusion- and vapor-tight. It is designed for conveying water-based coolants with temperatures from minus 58° to 104°F (minus 50 °C to +40 °C) at an operating pressure of up to 10 bar and within diameters from ¾ inches to 12 inches. This ready-to-install, preinsulated system maintains its original properties for its 25-year life span. It is corrosion- and incrustation-proof. Additionally, the nominal bore is maintained throughout the installation lifetime, which means no increase in pressure drops.
