The Supermarket of the Future contest encouraged participants as teams or individuals to deliver innovative ideas that demonstrate new approaches to today’s supermarket challenges. Judges reviewed submissions from 45 students and chose three winning entries.
The latest forum was held Feb. 18 in Atlanta and was highlighted by Drusilla Hufford, director, stratospheric protection division, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), who gave a national and global regulatory update, as well as Rajan Rajendran, vice president, systems innovation center and sustainability, Emerson Climate Technologies, who briefed attendees on refrigerant and energy regulations.

Emerson today announced the filing of an initial Form 10 Registration Statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in connection with its previously announced plan to spin off its Network Power business, which will be named Vertiv.
Emerson Climate Technologies Inc., a business of Emerson, hosted its fourth E360 Forum in Atlanta in February to collaborate on and discuss some of the biggest challenges facing the industry as regulations, technology and solutions continue to evolve.
A survey by Emerson asked homeowners about the most important features they consider when purchasing

They also asked about factors that might prevent someone from buying a new HVAC system if they own an older, more problem-prone system.
