The WhisperFit™ - FV-05VF2 - 50 CFM, FV-08VF2 - 80 CFM, FV-11VF2 - 110 CFM, and WhisperFit-Lite™ - FV-05VFL2 - 50 CFM, FV-05VFL2 - 80 CFM, FV-11VFL2 - 110 CFM - ventilation fans have a 4-inch duct diameter and come with a 3-inch duct adapter. The TechnoFlow™ technology combines features such as a tapered Sirocco fan and dolphin-shaped blades to deliver improved ventilation. WhisperFit 80 and 110 CFM fans also feature a new dual chamber structure to further minimize the transmission of noise from the blower to exterior. Features of the fans include a 5-5/8-inch housing depth, a totally enclosed motor rated for continuous run, a double hanger bar system, and a built-in damper to prevent backdraft and thermal fuse protection. The units are Energy Star® qualified. According to the manufacturer, new electronic ballast technology and more powerful compact fluorescent lamps lead to a more than 30 percent improvement in brightness over previous WhisperFit-Lite models. Two 18-W electronic ballast CFLs are now included.
