The WhisperCeiling™ ceiling-mounted fans have two-storied, double-tapered dolphin-shaped blades designed for quiet operation, says the company. They have a new baffle plate with double-orifice technology, which reduces the transmission of noise from the motor to the exterior, states the manufacturer. These duct fans, which are available in 4- and 6-inch sizes, feature a totally enclosed motor, built-in damper, thermal fuse protection, and rustproof paint treatment on galvanized housing. The fans are Energy Star® qualified and meet the Washington State Ventilation and Indoor Air Quality Code. The units are UL-listed for tub/shower enclosure when used with a GFCI branch circuit wire.
