DOE To Fund Clean Energy
The Department of Energy (DOE) has awarded 14 cooperative agreements totaling nearly $10.5 million to develop and advance clean energy technologies. Final award amounts are being negotiated with the winning state energy offices, energy associations, and universities.
The projects include such areas as distributed generation, daylighting, and a new energy-efficient centrifugal compressor for commercial air conditioning.
