The Angler Tool is specifically designed for use on the jobsite to construct joints and fittings primarily with fibrous duct board, but can be used to alter machine-produced metal duct if necessary. To use, lay the tool on the duct board. Use the angles to trace the correct diagonal and vertical cut lines for the required fitting. Reference the table on the tool for throat/offset/riser measurements. Cut out and rotate the duct pieces. Then tape and seal the fittings. The tool has three angles: 11.25, 22.5, and 90 degrees. Rulers are on both sides of the instrument. A duct board scale is on the bottom of the tool for 47-inch duct sections. The instruction manual is now available in Spanish as well as English.
