The Freedom® 80 variable-speed oil furnace features an electronic variable-speed motor that delivers increased comfort and efficiency, the company says. With efficiency ratings ranging from 81.7 percent to 82.7 percent AFUE, 3- and 4-ton units are available. Features of the furnace include a Beckett flame-retention burner; 13-gauge, hot-rolled steel, wraparound heat exchanger; preformed ceramic fiber combustion chamber; and washable filter. The furnace cabinet, including the blower compartment, is insulated.
