A 95 percent AFUE oil condensing furnace, the OHC95, is Energy Star-qualified. The ultra-high efficiency furnace is designed and developed with assistance from the National Oilheat Research Alliance (NORA). The furnace has a firing rate of 75,000 Btuh with up to 4 tons of a/c cooling capacity. It contains components such as a Riello BF3 oil burner and comes with a standard ECM blower motor for additional energy savings. The design has easy access to the primary and secondary heat exchangers and has mounted the entire assembly on a roller system that can be pulled out, making servicing the heat exchangers quick and easy. The secondary heat exchanger is designed with larger tubes, allowing less restricted airflow to minimize buildup. The OHC95 is a sealed-combustion, direct-vent unit and must be installed with the company’s ventor assembly. It is available as a highboy unit.
