The Premiere oil furnace contains the ECM variable-speed blower motor, which automatically adjusts its speed for varying heating and cooling modes for maximum home comfort, states the manufacturer. The furnace has selectable blower turn-on delays (30, 60, 120, and 240 seconds) and turn-off delays (two, four, six, and eight minutes). There is a four-minute minimum A/C off time to reduce short-cycle-related failures, says the company. The blower operation will "time out" before the mode is switched between the heat setting and the cool setting to prevent stress-related evaporator failures. Air temperature (heat) rise from return to supply plenum can be picked from these choices: 60 degrees, 65 degrees, 70 degrees, and 75 degrees F.
