EAST PETERSBURG, Pa. - The National Association of Oil Heating Service Managers (NAOHSM) has chosen Astoria, N.Y., as the site of the next "Oil Heat Cares" benefit seminar, which will feature an informative presentation from Oilheat author and industry expert Dan Holohan. Holohan will present his "What I've Learned From Dead Men" seminar on steam on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 5 p.m.

All proceeds from the seminar will go to the Oil Heat Cares Foundation, a charity established by the oil heat industry to reach out to people who need assistance with their home heating systems. NAOHSM chapter members work together to identify project candidates and then install heating equipment at no cost to the chosen individuals or groups.

Fundraising efforts such as the benefit seminars are an important element of Oil Heat Cares. The money collected is used to purchase the equipment needed for selected projects. In June, a two-day benefit seminar was held in Rhode Island, netting $6,500 for the Oil Heat Cares Foundation.

To register for the seminar, log on to www.naohsm.org.
