The ToughGardâ„¢ R with Enhanced Surface is described in a spec sheet in CSI format. The two-page spec sheet provides details on the duct liner's airstream surface. Along with a photo, the spec sheet contains technical data, installation information, and thermal and acoustical performance data. Used principally as an acoustical duct liner, the rotary-based fiberglass HVAC duct liner can be specified for use throughout an entire HVAC system or used in conjunction with ToughGardâ„¢ duct liner with Enhanced Surface. The surface enhancement was developed to help alleviate a specifier's concerns about moisture entering a duct system due to improperly sealed duct joints or poorly installed and maintained duct systems.
