MSA Instrument Division: Gas Monitor
The Ultima X gas monitor series now is available for duct-mounted monitoring applications. This kit enables gas sampling even when the flow rate within the duct is at a high velocity, says the company. It is sealed to prevent the gas within the duct from escaping, states the manufacturer. Users can calibrate the sensor via a calibration port without disassembling or removing the sensor from the duct, states the company. According to the manufacturer, the disconnect-under-power feature allows sensors in an explosion-proof unit to be changed without the need for hazardous-area declassification.
