The Bio-Fighter® XL Commercial UV-C Series uses a new ballast technology to boost output by over 40%, the company states. The new design also features improved durability in moist conditions, enhanced UVC energy reflectivity, and easier fixture installation and maintenance, says the manufacturer. The NEMA 4x Bio-Fighter designed for rooftop AHU installation is available with lamps up to 45 inches in width, to allow for a variety of coil lengths. The new ballasts allow the fixture to accommodate 100- to 300-V input.
