The Acclimateâ„¢ 12- and 13-SEER air conditioning units and heat pumps have a scroll compressor, which is isolated behind a composite material that doesn't rattle or vibrate, says the company. Features include a full-end access panel with a handle, sliding full-access control box, side discharge service valves, adjustable knockout plate for electrical whips, and a factory-installed filter-drier with a solid core. The demand defrost board features service analyzer capabilities, integrated control, fault code retention, hot heat pump and fossil fuel jumpers, high- and low-pressure switch connections, and a pipe freeze protection timer. The 12-SEER unit uses R-22, while the 13-SEER unit uses R-410A.
