LAKELAND, Fla. - Two students in the commercial heating and air conditioning technology program at Traviss Technical Center in Lakeland, Fla., are on their way to state competition, the last step before the national SkillsUSA Championship in Kansas City, Mo., this summer.
Jonathan Stebbins took first place and Maurice Adams finished third in regional HVAC competition in their home state. They move on to the state finals in Miami at the end of April. First place winners advance to the nationals in late June.
