OKLAHOMA CITY — Representatives from Carrier Corp. presented the United Technologies Q-Plus Level III award to ClimateMaster in a ceremony held recently at the company’s Oklahoma City headquarters. ClimateMaster manufactures water-source heat pumps for Carrier’s domestic distribution network.

Kevin Glover, product manager for water-source heat pumps, told ClimateMaster employees, “You should be commended because you made it happen.” Glover noted that Q-Plus Level III certification is given only to suppliers who meet the high standards of the Q-Plus program, and supplier candidates must meet stringent requirements regarding product quality, supply chain management activities, and continuous improvement in all areas.
