WASHINGTON, DC — The Earth Technologies Forum, a conference on climate change scheduled for March 25-27 here, will include an executive summit on air conditioning called “Building Air Conditioning Investment: Save Money and Protect the Environment.”

The summit will begin with an exhibition on Tuesday, March 26, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The summit itself will be held on Wednesday March 27, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The summit will address the cost effectiveness of energy-efficient building air conditioning. Attendees will hear experts discuss why and how energy investments in both new and existing buildings are good for business and the environment.

Hvac system designers will learn how efficiency can be packaged as profit and environmental protection for their customers. Building owners and financial decision-makers will find that there is money to be earned by energy-efficient investment. Executives will learn that the hvac industry offers solutions to indoor air quality concerns, climate change, high electricity costs, and energy shortages.

Speakers will includes representatives from the Department of Energy (DOE), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), and others.
