The HPS pressure switch provides an electrical indication that a rupture disc has burst and a relief valve has discharged, the company says. The pressure relief valve will reseat after discharging while the rupture disc remains open, the company says. The pressure switch will maintain the signal until a new rupture disc is installed and the pressure is reduced to zero. Features of the pressure switch include 1/8-in. NPT connection side port, DIN connector with 1/2-in. conduit connection, a set pressure of 10 psi (rising), an ambient temperature range of -20 to 125 degrees F (-29 to 52 degrees C), and a safe working pressure (body) of 400 psig (27 bar).
