The company is offering ventilation ducts that it is making with its new, antistatic textiles. With the antistatic material, grounding is facilitated by stainless steel that is woven into the polyester duct material. In accordance with its ISO 9001 quality procedure, the manufacturer weaves the fabric at its own mill with the same Trevira CS fabric used in all of its textile ducts; this ensures that the same porosity, shrinkage, surface-burning characteristics, and performance criteria found in the company’s other fabric ducts exist in those made with the antistatic textiles. The electrostatic resistance of KE-Trevira antistatic material is 106 W/cm (ohms/cm).
