At 4.38 lb/min, the MicroVac 0.5-hp oilless refrigerant recovery unit generates the fastest ARI-certified R-410A liquid recovery rates in its class, says the manufacturer. For greater speed, its patent-pending GoldPlus compressor has high displacement. The unit also has an upright design with few internal restrictions, so airflow and condensing capacity are promoted, the company says. For faster and safer liquid recovery, the compressor head has a special expansion chamber, which automatically flashes and vaporizes incoming refrig-erant, says the company.
