Using state-of-the-art technology, the Layout-Cart™ supports fixed lasers for single-point layout and moveable support arms to hold lasers for dual-point layout, says the company; these lasers are self-leveling lasers (pictured in detail) that emit a beam in five directions, three on a horizontal plane and two on a vertical plane. A resettable linear measurement device measures linear movement of the cart along the reference line and a drum attachment enables support of a laser to provide indicator lines along radii in both horizontal and vertical planes with 360-degree rotation, states the manufacturer. The control module gives data in metric and English measurements. Applications include marking hanger locations for ductwork.
