A lightweight tristand constructed of heavy-wall 1-inch square tubing is now available with a chain vise stand for piping up to 2-1/2 inches. It is ideal for threading, soldering, bending, cutting, or gripping small diameter pipe or tubing, states the manufacturer. The vise is made of cast iron with drop forged jaws. The legs fold up easily with no pinch points. Large rubber pads are bolted to each leg for solid contact on all flooring. The stand comes with a carrying handle.
