ALBANY, NY — The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) is launching a free training seminar as part of its new Unitary Hvac Program, designed for contracting businesses that specify, install, and maintain packaged rooftop equipment in commercial facilities. The two-day training seminar will be held at three locations during January 2002.

The “Building Tune-up” seminar — developed and delivered by hvac professionals — provides in-depth information for contractors on how to sell and deliver new energy-efficient products and services. These hands-on training sessions cover the use of new portable diagnostic tools, development of commissioning techniques for unitary hvac systems, and effective sales of efficiency services.

Seminar dates are set for January 8-9 in Tarrytown, January 10-11 in Albany, and January 18-19 in Rochester. For more information, contact Kerin Seward of XENERGY at 800-892-2006, ext. 256.
