The Premier E ground-source heat pump, named for its efficiency, economy, and earth-friendliness, is said to boast the highest efficiency in its category and to be the first ground-source heating and cooling unit to use zero-ozone-depleting R410-A refrig-erant, according to the company. The unit offers EERs up to 25.1 and COPs up to 4.3, saving home-owners up to 75% on their energy bills, the company says. Other features include a thicker compressor shell for quieter operation, simplified control box, and optimized air coil with E-coat for improved corrosion resistance, says the manufacturer.
