Site allows homeowners to schedule service

DEL MAR, CA — JoeFixit.com, a Web site for consumers who wish to schedule appointments for home improvements and repair services online, recently rolled out a new site in the San Diego market.

The new Web site will initially offer services in seven categories, including electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, and plumbing and drain cleaning. After the initial launch in each city, the company expects to add services each month, up to a target offering of 20 different home services per market.

The site, developed by ServiceBeyond.com Inc., is expected to enter 12 to 15 major markets by this year’s end.
